World Emoji Day: Facebook, Twitter and Apple celebrate the International Day of Emoticons with interesting selections

Apple, Facebook, Twitter and other technology giants celebrated International Emoticons, or Emojis, on Tuesday with the announcement of most of the emoticons used and favorite, and the announcement of new emoticons, showing how emoticons made conversations easy and expressive without words.

Twitter also released a list of the top ten emoticons used in its platform, which included the smileys "Heart, Fire, Admirers and Heart Eyes."
