DuckDuckGo charges serious charges to Google after its problems with the EU

DuckDuckGo charges serious charges to Google

Following the European Union's $ 5 billion fine on Google for anti-competitive behavior with Android products, rival search engine DuckDuckGo claims that the company's antitrust problems do not stop there.

This claim came in a series of tweets from the DuckDuckGo Twitter account in response to the fine. The search engine claims that "anti-competitive search behavior is not limited to Android only," but it is also found in other products, such as the Chrome browser. "Every time we update our Chrome browser extension, all of our users face a formal dialogue asking them whether they want to undo their search settings and disable the entire extension," he said.
Google also owns https://t.co/ud1YyoqbZ5 and points it directly at Google search, which consistently confuses DuckDuckGo users.

DuckDuckGo also highlights that Google currently owns the domain name "duck.com" and has had at least since 2011. (Duckduckgo was launched in 2008.) A report from Independent also indicates that the domain was registered before any company was created, but it was not clear when it was owned by Google.
